Olio Joins!

Olio is delighted to join Business Declares, a rapidly growing network of businesses who acknowledge that we’re already living in a Climate and Ecological crisis. As a hyperlocal sharing app looking to solve the climate crisis by ending waste one share at a time, both people and planet are of critical importance to us. We firmly believe that the current paradigm - whereby businesses often generate enormous profits whilst in parallel undermining communities and the planet - and where 'doing good' is restricted to charities alone - is no longer fit for purpose. This dichotomous approach needs to be replaced by a third way: profit with purpose. It’s for this reason that we call on all businesses to collaborate and accelerate actions to reduce their carbon emissions and ecological footprint.
