The Pollinators Declare: It’s Time for Courageous Climate Action

The challenges we face—climate breakdown, ecological collapse, and social injustice—are deeply interconnected and already reshaping our world. Alongside our fellow Business Declares members, we’re adding our voice to a growing movement: we declare a climate, ecological, and social emergency.

This is not a distant threat. The impacts are happening now. They’re affecting communities, businesses, and ecosystems everywhere—including us, and those we work with and for. We make this declaration with urgency, clarity, and resolve.

Our commitment builds on the action we’ve already taken, and aligns with the Business Declares Manifesto. It’s rooted in the belief that business can—and must—be a force for good.

Specifically, we will:

• Publish or update our transition plan showing how we’ll use our core business activities to respond to all three dimensions of this emergency—climate, nature, and society. This isn’t just about reducing harm, it’s about increasing our resilience and playing our part in systemic change.
  

• Use our voice to advocate—for bold policy, for better ways of doing business, and for a new economic model that serves people and planet, not just short-term profits. We know the current system isn’t working. Together, we can help shape one that does.
  

• Support local nature recovery efforts, including our ongoing partnership with the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. We believe that thriving local ecosystems are essential to climate resilience, community wellbeing, and a future worth protecting.
