We are excited to announce that we will be hosting The People’s Emergency Briefing film in association with Greenpeace UK and the UK Green Film Network at Hyde Park Picture House, Leeds at 8pm on Tues 9th June 2026!
The UK faces a growing climate and nature emergency. Yet most people have never been fully briefed on what it means for our lives, our economy and our future.
This film from the National Emergency Briefing sets out the risks facing the nation - and the credible, positive responses available - in a clear and accessible account designed for screenings in communities across the UK.
We are also excited to be joined by ‘Jon Richardson and The Futurenauts’ for a special live recording of their podcast, as part of the screening!
Jon’s ‘everyman’ humour and curiosity, combined with the deep knowledge and experience of all things sustainability from ‘The Futurenauts’ Ed Gillespie and Mark Stevenson, will bring you another brilliant episode wrestling with the most difficult conversations we all need to have, whilst also laughing in the face of adversity - systems thinking, for people down the pub!
